Youth Support Program

The Youth Support Program (YSP) is an intensive youth-centred alternative to custody. The goal of the program is to support the rehabilitation and reintegration of youth on probation, conditional or community supervision or as part of a community release plan.
The Counsellor in collaboration with the youth develops an individualized plan that compliments the Case Management Plan and includes an assessment of needs, specific programming/supports and interventions to be provided and the expected outcomes of service.
The program includes individual counselling, family support, cognitive/behavioural group sessions, SNAP®, and referrals to support services.
Hours
Monday to Friday, daytime and evening appointments are available.
Eligibility Criteria
Age: 12-17 (at the time of the offence)
Legal Status: Court ordered/Probation referral
