Housing Resource Centre

The Housing Resource Centre will support individuals and/or families in securing permanent housing within the City of Brantford and Brant area. With staff available Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 4:30pm individuals and/or families of all ages will receive the following services:

Support with referrals to internal and external resources including addictions and mental health services, employment services, legal clinics, identification and tax clinics, income support services, and food bank services
Completing applications to the Centralized Waitlist and the Housing Stability Fund
Housing Searches
Landlord Liaison
Education on rights and responsibilities as a tenant

Eligibility Criteria

Age: All ages

Individuals and/or families who are or who are at risk of experiencing homelessness

Cornerstone House offers a shelter and a Transitional Housing Program for men and women who are between 18 and 29 years of age.
