Hose Assembler/ General Labour- Consolequip Inc
Monday to Friday; 8:00AM to 4:30PM
Duties
Consolequip Inc. supplys freight car air brake hoses and pressure measuring devices to the railways. We are looking for a motivated individual to join our team to complete general assembly and laborer-type duties.
About the Position
Hose Assembler- Set ruler and cut hose to length, apply end fittings, perform leak test. (70% of the job)
General Labour- fabricate metal parts, pick/pack orders.
Qualifications
This individual must be open to learning new skills and assisting different teammates daily to get the job done.
- Forklift experience is an asset.
- Able to read an imperial tape measure
- Able to communicate effectively with teammates and leadership
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and in a team environment
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Reliable and punctual
- Positive attitude and safety focused
- Able to take direction and follow through on tasks independently.
Eligibility
- Must be able to provide own transportation to and from work.
- Steel toed boots are mandatory.
