Technical Purchasing Agent - AC Tesla PES Inc

AC Tesla is an electrical system engineering and testing company specializing in normal and emergency electrical distribution equipment.
We are looking to hire a full time Technical Purchasing Agent. The Agent is responsible for acquiring technical goods and services necessary for the High Voltage/ Medium Voltage / Low Voltage Power Distribution Equipment

Job Responsibilities:
Supplier Management:

• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers.
• Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers.
• Maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.

Procurement:

• Purchase technical equipment, components, or materials according to the site specific construction installation requirements
• Ensure that purchases meet the technical specifications and quality standards.

Cost Control:

• Identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
• Analyze total costs, including shipping, handling, and warehousing.

Compliance and Documentation:

• Ensure compliance with company policies, legal regulations, and industry standards.
• Maintain accurate records of orders, contracts, and vendor communications.

Coordination and Communication:

• Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality control teams to understand technical requirements.
• Communicate with internal stakeholders to forecast needs and ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Resolve issues related to delivery, quality, or payment with suppliers.
