HVAC/R Labourer- Greenview Mechanical Inc.
Mainly Day Shift - 30 hours per week
Duties
At Greenview Mechanical Inc. we are a fully licensed and insured mechanical contractor that work in all residential, commercial and industrial buildings. We specialize in the "hard to fix" and/or "been a problem for a while" issues.
We are looking to add a HVAC/R Labourer to our team.
Job Duties include:
• Assist HVAC/R Technicians with installing, servicing, diagnosing, and maintaining heating, ventilation & air conditioning equipment and refrigeration equipment for residential and commercial customers.
• Load and unload materials and equipment.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of job sites, shop, and vehicles.
• Perform ad-hoc tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
• A positive, driven attitude to working hard and learning.
• Eager to learn and gain practical hands-on work experience.
• Punctual, reliable, resourceful and organized with effective written and verbal communication skills.
• The ability to work efficiently and effectively within a team environment, while also be self motivating during individual tasks.
• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Mechanically inclined individual with an interest in a potential apprenticeship.
• Able to lift weights reaching 50 lbs, carry weights reaching 40 lbs, and push and pull weights reaching 100-150 lbs.
• Basic knowledge of hand and power tools and able to operate tools and equipment safely.
• Valid drivers license and clean drivers abstract.
• Construction trades field experience: 2 years (preferred)
• pre -apprenticeship program (preferred)
• Gas Fitter 3 (preferred)
