Duties
The casual ECE or Child Care Program Facilitator work as part of a team to back-fill for pre-scheduled and emergency absences. Flexibility required accommodating day shifts Monday through Friday between the hours of 7:00am – 6:00pm at Norfolk County sites including Before & After School Programs
Qualifications
- Early Childhood Education diploma preferred (registration with the College of Early Childhood Educators preferred), Social Services, or related field diploma
- A minimum of one year experience preferred
- Experience leading children’s activities ideal
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Possession of a current First Aid/CPR Certificate
- Verification of the required immunizations/immunity, as recommended by the local Medical Officer of Health
- Vulnerable Sector Record Check (includes Criminal Record & Judicial Matters Check) and Children’s Aid Society Declaration/Release
- Possession of a valid driver’s licence, $2 million vehicle liability insurance, clear Driver Abstract and use of a vehicle.
