Announcing a Virtual Job Fair for Brant and Haldimand Job Seekers

Calling all job seekers! St. Leonard's Community Services Employment Services has announced a Virtual Job Fair on April 27, 28, and 29. Employers from various industries are looking to hire community members searching for work. Representatives from 20 employers will meet one on one with prospective employees through pre-booked Zoom meetings. Advanced registration is required. 

"The job search and hiring methods have changed throughout the pandemic. We are here to support employers and job seekers alike," says Malcolm Whyte, Director of Employment Services. "The Virtual Job Fair is just one way we are supporting employment in our community."

Job seekers can pre-register to meet with representatives from employers such as Bayshore Healthcare, BGI Retail, Big Smoke Burger, Commercial Cleaning Services, DHL, Days Inn Brantford, Emterra Group, Energuy, Evolve Recycling, Grand Erie District School Board, Harmony Arts Daycare and Education Centre, Integrity LTC Staffing Solutions, Latham Pool Products, Mitten Building Products, Piller's Fine Foods, Pan Glo Canada, Solo Cable Solutions, Stanpac, VON Canada, and YMCA of Hamilton/Burlington/Brantford. 

Job seekers can obtain support from St. Leonard's Community Services Employment Services to prepare for the Virtual Job Fair. Employment Services will also assist in preparing for virtual applications, resumes, interviews, and more.

St. Leonard's Community Services offers various community support from Addiction & Mental Health and Employment to Housing and Justice. The Employment Services Centres located in Brantford, Caledonia, and Dunnville, help connect employers and members of our community. The Virtual Job Fair is an excellent example of how they create opportunities to encourage positive employment relationships.
