Harm Reduction Supply Program

The Harm Reduction Supply Program is offered in partnership by SOAR Community Services, Grand Erie Public Health, Grand River Community Health Centre, Rosewood House, The Van (Positive Health Network), and the Grand River Clinic.
Participants are provided with a full range of safe use supplies for injection, inhalation and ingestion use of substance. Supplies include needles, filters, alcohol swabs, sterile water, tourniquets, Vitamin C powder, sterile disposable spoons, paper straws, straight stems, push sticks, brass screens, bowl pipes, mouth pieces, foil and condoms. Nasal Spray Naloxone Kits are also available. Participants are also offered information on safe use and can ask about counselling if desired.
People accessing the service are asked for the following basic information: the first two initials of your first and last name and birth year, drug of choice, and if any equipment was dropped off in the bin.
